Papers

Here you can browse downloadable papers and group FACEM publications by author, release, fabric code and geography. For the geographical grouping, both ancient (e.g., Lucania) and modern (e.g., Bay of Naples) terms have been employed. These macro- and micro-regions, as well as site names, have, in most cases, been assigned to modern nation- states (e.g., Italy). In some instances, however, macro-regions extend across the territories of several contemporary countries (e.g., Ionian-Adriatic Region), as a precise geographical attribution of the relevant productions is not yet possible.
